Washington County Public Schools acquires air purifiers for its 46 school facilities

More than 22,000 students attend 46 school facilities in the Maryland district.

Washington County, Md. (Feb. 4, 2021) – Washington County Public Schools has reached an agreement on February 4, 2021, to acquire EnviroKlenz Air Systems for its schools.

The district serves 26 elementary schools, 7 middle schools, 9 high schools and 3 special programs. WCPS has 1,236 education support staff, 1,772 teachers, and 214 administrative staff. The EnviroKlenz Air Purifiers will be placed across facilities within common areas and classrooms, enhancing the air quality in enclosed spaces.
